Hey everyone, my name is Jason and i just joined the forum today. Last week i acquired a 98 civic ex coupe MT silver. The thing is bone stock and looks to be unmolested. It's got 140k on it and drives great. I actually had a 97 LX as my first car about 10 years ago so it's not my first honda but it's been a while. Anyway, i use the car for my job(i drive anywhere from 100-500 miles per day) and it's great with gas mileage which is nice. The parking brake is barely working at the moment and after inspecting the drums i found out why. My first mod is going to be a rear disc brake conversion with integra calipers, rsx caliper brackets, 02 si rear rotors, and this bracket that i found from scarebird brakes https://scarebird.com/index.php?rout...tegory&path=67 i already ordered it and have found people that have used it with success in the past. The other problem that i have is that 3rd gear grinds when i shift too quickly and the muffler actually just fell off lol. anyone got advice on the transmission issue? im probably just gonna get an aftermarket exhaust at this point to fix the broken muffler.ill post up some pics as soon as i get a chance to. Just looking for thoughs/suggestions on the things that i mentioned above!

3rd gear grind, probably needs the trans split apart to inspect and fix.
