Zerrin is on a distinguished road
Hello, from the newest of new!

Hello all, my name is Zerrin. I'm 18 and have been very lucky to have my first car (a most lovely '89 civic) for about 2 years now. My step dad was very generous to give it to me, but I'll admit I haven't treated the car as well as it's treated me. He's a big Bronco enthusiast and admins a Bronco forum, and with all the help they give him I felt it was time I found a forum for my car.

I'm brand new to everything vehicles. My dad never taught me how to do anything to a car, my step-dad was a little late into the picture, and I was lucky to have my mom teach me at least how to check my oil. I'm hoping that you guys can start me out to at least being able to fix the minor things on my baby, without going to a local mechanic who tries his best to rip me off. I know they're not all bad, but I seem to have the worst luck with it

So, I'm hoping I can get around ok without making anybody too irate with me. I want to get to know my vehicle better, and I want to learn how to give it the care it deserves. Have I come to the right place?

Welcome to the forum.

Honda's are great cars to learn how to turn wrenches on. Hope you get all the help you need to get your ride fixed up here. I started working on my first car when I was 16 and have always had a passion for it ever since.

Is your name actually Zerrin? That'd be kinda cool if it really is. In any case, welcome!

Yeah, it's my real name. My mom found it in a book, but because it's weird not a lot of people know it's actually a girl's name.

Thanks for the warm welcome I like to take care of my things, so this should really be a step in the right direction.
