im new, help!
So I never thought id have a "ricer" lol I had a 95bonneville ssei with cold air intake true dual exhaust upgraded epu and it had the 3.8 v6 supercharged pushing 15lbs. I never lost to a Honda lol now I have a 95 Honda civic hb and need new headers because the welds are cracked. I learned to drive a 5 speed for this car an love it but have no idea wat I'm looking at under the hood lol I was told its a b16 engine swap but the only numbers I was able to find were p08 hf1 and I think p08-05 or some **** and all I could find on Google was that those were for a d16. So I have no idea if I need to get headers for one or the other or how to even tell wat engine I have. All it says on the motor is Honda vtec.
who can help!?
who can help!?
Re: im new, help!
Does it say DOHC vtec? the stock b16 valve cover specifies the dohc. To be sure, check on the front of the engine under the valve cover to check the engine stamp to see if it is d16 or b16.
Re: im new, help!
It doesn't say dohc that I've seen because there's not really a valve cover or any plastic on it lol its all metal and just engine parts. It looks like **** tbh just engine stuff with nowhere to hide that I've seen
Re: im new, help!
Header. Singular. One. But it depends, do you want stock replacement or aftermarket? (More noise or not) OEM parts are good quality, and there are all kinds of aftermarket ones, but you get what you pay for.
Re: im new, help!
Well it already has aftermarket. Headers I just don't know wat type, or wat kinda exhaust I just want decent headers for a halfway cheap price cuz I'm putting them on myself so ill prolly need the gasket seals an bolts an **** too. I don't even know wat site to look on or wat parts are called, I just take apart an put back together tbh
Re: im new, help!
Sorry for the trouble an thanks for the help, I found an ordered the headers I need lol stainless steel wit the 4-2-1 design comes with the gasket seal an everything so I'm just waiting for its arrival!
