Howdy, I am returning to Civic SI life after being exiled to Toyota Camry hell for the last 12 years.
I have had at least 5 SI's in the past, the last one a new 2000 red Civic SI for my wife in 2000 (after the doctors told us we couldnt have kids, bought the SI for my distraught wife, had our first child 10 months later, had to buy a Camry)
They carried off my totaled Camry last week, I'm picking up a 2003 Vivid Blue Civic SI Wednesday.
One owner, bought new by a 22 year old young lady, car was "her baby", remained stock except air intake (which I will be looking for original stuff soon). No accidents, no repaints, original rims, NO RUST. Runs well. Interior very good. Got some basic maintenance stuff to do, but good solid original car. Shifting mechanism lose, will be looking to repair are replace with short shift kit. Front end a little loose, speed dependent steering assist no longer speed assistant, etc I look forward to having fun with a car again.
