hello-new member needs help

hello,
I know, I know, another newbie..lol

I have a 96 dx hatch. I bought some new axles for it from parts geeks.
first equipment quality is the brand. I bought left and right. after working with it all day today, these ______ things are not fitting. anyone know why I can not get them to seat all the way into the tranny? the splines are the same count and the length appears to be the same. seem to be a fairly easy job from what I have read and seen. not the case today. time to drink some:_be er:

thanks in advance for any input.

Do the old axles still slide back in?

See if the new snap ring is holding you up. When you try to install, make sure you spin it so the gap on that snap ring is at the top.

Re: hello-new member needs help

thanks man. it ended up being the c-clips. the new ones on the axle where holding it up. i took them off and the axles slid in pretty easy. took them out and installed the old c-clips on to the new axles and it worked. everything is together as it should be.
