Hey all,

I am a new civic owner. 2000 silver ex 2 Dr. 225k my brothers wrecked car. And hopefully will be picking up a blown engine 98 civic ex black to make a commuter car out of. I am new to civics but not new to vehicles. I have a heavily modified tacoma.

Any input from you folks on swapping engines would be helpful.

I am buying my brothers wrecked civic for ab 400 with a destroyed passenger door and some rocker panel and a bit of door frame damage near the hinges. It also bent the cross member in the dash. Instead of buying just a door I am hoping to get a 98 civic with a blown engine for 600 this week and begin the fix/part out.

Any suggestions on my project will be helpful. Am I paying too much for the cars etc. ?
