New civic owner
My girlfriend killed the trans and gave me the car. I had the trans rebuilt. Now I'm fixing the oil leak by replacing the rear cam plug. While I have the egr valve off I'm cleaning it. Am I crazy for fixing up this 2002 ex coupe with 140,000 miles? This isn't my main means of transportation just a car to go out in.

there is nothing wrong with fixing it to make it work. plus its a learning expierence. if all else fails, just drop a good used engine in. its like 700-1000.

Every car I own is a learning experience. Fixed the oil leak. Now my next project is ball joints. Aamco told me I needed to replace them when they rebuilt my trans. It's a fun little car to drive, I put almost 200 miles on it in a month.
