New guy here, former sentra owner leaping to Honda
Hello, I'm joe, and i am here to learn about civics so I can build and buy one the way I want too....-the right way
I used to own a 06 sentra spec-v, fully bolted, almost any mod for the car was on the car-tein coilovers, eibachswaybars, cams, I/h/e, pullovers, bsr removal, safc-2 tuned, nismo lip kit.....
I'm pretty good with Nissan and the qr25 engine, problem is I spent way too much modding my sentra
So I decided to buy a civic, that is why I'm here, I just don't know much about Honda engines so please let me know what are the good engines and turbo set ups to run....I want a hatch I know that muxh

Re: New guy here, former sentra owner leaping to Honda
Welcome to the forum and to Honda. I had a 02 sentra spec-v for about 9 monthes. It was a fun car, had I/h/e but I kept having problems with the mass air flow sensor going bad ($500) part so I sold it and went back to Honda. I won't stray away again! There is a lot of helpful info on this forum and a lot of helpful and knowledgable people.

Jumping from Nissans to Honda, the biggest difference might be the ease of making power on the majority of Honda engines. Even a stock D-series from an older hatch can do very well with a turbo. If you want to make a lot of power, then you'd be looking at any B series or an K series, although some will need more work than others.
