Hello !
Hi, I'm Gryphon (yes that’s my name) from Tampa Fl. Its good to meet you guys ... I'm looking forward to getting my Taffeta White 2012 Civic Si... of course once I get my hands on my new car latter this year, that is just the beginning. Yes I’m going to MOD & tune the hell out of it.. LOL I hope to share my adventure with all of you and so look forward to any tips and advice any of you wish to give. My concerns are BOOST vs. NA. I’m shooting for 300-400 whp but with that power on a FWD I want to avoid over “torque steer” … well this is just supose to be an intro & I digress.. LOL so Hi everyone !!!

Perhaps and to each there own right? But its not just about fast.. its about Honda.. No car feels or drives like a Honda ! and Civic Si is its own culture in the auto world.. A Si loded is still well bellow 30k and that is the point too.. If your not going the muscle car route.. (ugh) there really is not much out there bellow 30k Yes the Speed 3 comes allready boosted... but a factory engine boosted with only 64 more whp ... whatever.. a WRX sti has decent power but is closer to the 40k range, and is heavy and bulky almost more of a muscle car really.. The Evo is a sedan and if you get the quick version again well above the 30k range. A Golf ? ... well.. German tuning here in the states can be very tricky... and it's just to euro looking for me

I agree.It's something that some people understand,others don't.It's a hobby.Tuning your car,blood and sweat goes into the car.There's a special connection to the car once you succeed what you wanted.
