^there are multiple people in my local club running mid to low 10's on d-series engines, V8 rwd vehicles may have a displacement advantage but older hondas have a massive weight advantage. Aside from that, the power potential is there, the current k24 record is somewhere between 1400-1500hp.

^ You have to invest too much money to make power like that. And FWD does not get good traction, that's why I say AWD or RWD.
