Finally a Civic Owner
Been a member for several months, in anticipation of being an owner....I was asking about ATF in the car I was going to buy. Turned out that car won't be available when I need it, so I found a different one, with 5-speed.
I currently live in Houston, but am going to be moving an hour outside of the city over this summer, and this will be my commuter car.
2004 Civic DX-VP, basically came pre-modded, to a small degree. Already had exhaust, window tint, double-din JVC stereo with Boston Acoustics speakers. Oh yeah, and Dynomat in the trunk.
A few dents, but all topical. Every other one I looked at had been thru the crusher before I got it. One was hit so hard that it bowed the floor pan down, the seats were leaning inward! RUN AWAY!!!
Anyway, this one has a straight chassis, which is all a person can ask, so it seems. A little TLC and it will be good as new.

Re: Finally a Civic Owner
Eeh.....not just yet. Like I said, it's not perfect. The guy I bought it from said that the previous owner had a tree fall on it....which won it a new hood, and some minor denting on top. There's also a dent in the driver's door. Hubcaps look shitty too. I'm a little hesitant to start photographing it yet...lol.
Right now we're working on 'title transfer' and, 'clearing engine codes' for inspection...
Time and money...
