One of Many
Well I've been on the website since I decided to become interested in working on my 2003 Honda Civic Ex. My name's Wesley, I'm 18, and I'm from Houston, Texas. I have a kid on the way (due November 13th) and my life is pretty much work. I've been viewing y'alls website from my phone but haven't been able to register until I could get to a computer because I couldn't see the Captcha. I'm actually at work right now from 12 Am to 8 Am. I work as a security guard at various places around Houston.
I don't know much about cars but figured I'd start teaching myself (and learning from y'all). I looked up a website that sold car parts and for each part they sell, I'd Google it and figure out what it does, how it works etc. I still got a bit to learn but working hours like mine, I got all the time in the world.
That's about it.
Ps. Another fun fact about me. I've lived in Texas, Canada, and Germany. I've been to the Philippines, Egypt, Jordan, and various countries in Europe. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Welcome to the forum. This site started out as a 7thgen-only site (01-05 civics, 02-05 hatchback), so you'll be able to find a LOT of information about your car. Just search around a bit, find some info you can work with. If you don't understand the info, feel free to ask around.
It is a stupid expensive hobby, so you may want to kinda re-think if you wanna mod it or not, considering you have a kid that's a month and change away. Modding, really, however just straight up working on a car, although can be expensive, isn't nearly as expensive

Yeah I don't plan to have anything big done any time soon. I was planning on saving around 30 dollars a paycheck and building up to whatever it is I'm interested in buying. Also RiceBoy. Fellow Flip right here.

That sucks dude.. I kinda feel your pain. That's how I felt when I was in the Navy for 6 years, all because I couldn't take college seriously the first time.
