Hello Civicforums.com
I recently became the accidental owner of a beat up 98 DX (body wise). I became a member to try and get some of the kinks out of the car (it sat for a bit over a year before I got my hands on it.) I'm the second owner and it only has 49k miles on it!
My plans for this car:
CAI
Complete exhaust work
Pretty much a complete engine upgrade on the internals and otherwise
Complete suspension work
Auto to manual swap (maybe)
N2O or meth kit (both if possible but never looked into yet)
Turbo or SC (both if I can get the D16 to hold it.)
The rice the hell out of the exterior and interior.
(I love seeing the face of muscle car owners when the most rice car they've ever seen is in front of them in the strip.)
Lastly, if i can figure it out I want to do a rear wheel drive swap. I hate ff but it's fun!

Re: Hello Civicforums.com
Welcome to the forum! I hope you realize what all of that is going to cost. I think you should start off with a rear wheel drive car, but to each their own. Put up some pics so we can see what you are working with!
Re: Hello Civicforums.com
It's going to be a ridiculous amount of money to be putting into it but in the end it'll be worth it. I would love to start with another car but this was just how things played out so let's make some lemonade. The hardest part will be the rear wheel drive work and most expensive would be the boost work but it'll all be fun. Btw, any advice is always welcome. Pics will have to wait till morning though...

Re: Hello Civicforums.com
Well most of the guys I hang with are muscle heads. My cousin drives a GTO 6.0 and we hang out with 2 Mustang cobras 03 and 04 with some work, a C6, 4 SRT4's (3 of them white so when they park next to each other it's funny), 2 Camaros, a cobalt ss, a Supra twin turbo, and finally and rx-7. A riced out civic among all these cars would be priceless! Oh! and a 00' Mustang GT with a 5.4L swap built w/ SC. No matter what I'm still going to be close to the slowest.

Re: Hello Civicforums.com
find a way to fit an NSX motor under the hood. Then you wouldn't be the slowest. Bwahaha
Re: Hello Civicforums.com
Before I got the civic I was saving for a 2nd gen Miata. I wanted to do a LS3 swap with a mild SC and tons of custom work. Also riced out till no end.
Re: Hello Civicforums.com
Or I can just not do any of this and keep it stock then save enough to buy the NSX and just play with that.

Re: Hello Civicforums.com
Welcome and converting the civic to RWD is a hella lot of work. I hang out with alot of muscle heads myself and I am a bit of a muscle car guy myself. I just love all cars. But the guys I hang out with like to bash on hondas alot to but they actually like my car. They say its pretty nice and has some pretty good power for a honda lol. Hell my ep3 can hang with the new si's which is pretty damn good for the economy k series. I run 15.4 on a 1/4 mile and 9.83 on a 1/8 mile.
