Hi all. I'm frankD. I live in Lynchburg, VA. 37. Pro-Computer Geek. First time Civic owner. Married, kids, dog and house in the burbs. Into pro sports (Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Rangers) as well as college (VT Hokies!).

I have a 1997 Civic DX. Mods...well...I'm de-modding quite a bit of the car, but meh, here it goes. AEM CAI, headers, peeling clear coat, stains on the interior from previous owners, ridiculously big subs in the trunk, etc.

It's one of those love/hate stories. I bought the car for a steal. Then, I learned why it was so cheap. Now it has new:

• Catalytic converter
• Tailpipe
• Muffler
• Spark plugs
• Rims
• Tires
• Front axles
• Plug wires
• Headlights
• Battery
• Floor mats
• Keys

I still need a trunk seal (gasket, whatever - I'm no mechanic) and possibly a front window seal (it's not leaking, but it is pulled up on the passenger side a bit).

But alas, it's all good. It is now officially back on the road (legally) as of noon today. And, since the last time I drove it and got 37 mpg (my Titan is getting 15), I am very happy.

I do plan on putting a new bumper cover on it (it has a few cracks), getting a new paint job, maybe some rims (18's maybe).

Other than that, I'm just your ordinary everyday Joe...err...Frank.
