Hello from Kuwait
Hello from Kuwait
Hey guys (girls), new here, posting from Kuwait currently. on my second tour...coming home in December (they say...).
Previously owned:
del Sol Si (d16 vtec)
VW 1.8t GTi
1991 Prelude 2.0 non-vtec
currently own...
CBR1000RR...the machine I turn to for fun
only raced one car on it...a turbo Eclipse. wasn't much of a race though :-P
Currently looking to get a turbo-charged hatch when I get home...but torn between that and a WRX.
anyway, good to be here!

Re: Hello from Kuwait
They are great cars. They are already turbo stock and pushing a good amount of hp and they are AWD. Hell even if you dont want to upgrade it they are still great cars. You can fun in them everyonce in a while and since they are awd they are good in the winter.
Re: Hello from Kuwait
I couldn't afford an STi, since $10k will only put me in a "normal" modded WRX (headers/exhaust/intake), which I wouldn't mind. I don't have time or extra money to do it myself, but I love turbo hatchbacks...especially Civics. So you'd take a regular WRX over a turbo civic hatch?

Holy crap! That car is amazing! I thought it was a civic with a WRX-style hood at first, that guy did a great job.
Sadly I do not have the technical know-how to pull that off, but I admire his work.
My original question stands though; would you take a stock WRX over a well-built turbo hatch?

dude.. I didn't know how to reply to that question.. hence why I posted that monster cibaru... lol
If you had the cash flow, I'd rock the suby hatch.. and then put money into that if you so desired.
