New lady from Gaston County, NC
Hey y'all!
I'm Laura from Bessemer City, NC. I have had my civic less than a year! Its a 99 civic lx. The reason I'm on this site, is because I can't find out whats wrong with it! I went and filled up the tank on my way to work, drove fine and everything, that next morning, I woke up, was heading out, and now it won't crank! My machanic has checked the fuel pump, but its working. He also changed the main relay, it still doesn't work! What could this be? It's turning over, just won't crank! The fuel pump doesn't engage. We took the fuel pump to a battery, and its turning. Is there anything else we can try or do that could get it to crank? Please help me!!! Thanks!

Welcome first off. I am from NC to but anyway if the fuel pump is working the your fuel line could be clogged, if not that is your car getting spark at all. There are so many things that could be wrong. Is this all that you have checked.

Its nice to meet you! You're not too far!
Re: New lady from Gaston County, NC
I pretty far away but not to bad. I live in Marion its like 30 mins away from hickory. Another problem could be your distributor, the cap could be wet or you just need a new one. Also if your fuel line is good then the next step could be the injectors. Its kinda hard to tell you whats wrong when I am not there to look at it. One of the main problems with fuel lines in the winter time is the fact of the winter gas blend, just make sure when you get her running put some injector cleaner in the gas tank to clean the lines out alittle.
