Just saying Hello!
Just saying Hello!
Hey I am new to the forum, but have owned my 2006 Civic Si for over a year now. I love the car I came from driving a VR6 Jetta and prefer the civic hands down. I am just looking to get some good information that can help me with some of the mods that I want to do. Currently the car is stock with some exceptions to the stereo. I have too many hobbies to try and put money into everything, but I think I would like to focus on my car now. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome, suspension wise that would be awesome way to start modifying you already have a sweet engine but if you get a JRSC I'd marry you haha. Good luck with the ride.

I have been thinking about the hondata reflash. However, I need to get different headers and exhaust before I make that change, so I guess I am definitely a few steps back from that, it will all happen soon enough!

Re: Just saying Hello!
You ever think about Kpro instead of the reflash? All the k series guys swear by it. The only downside is that you can't go back to the stock ecu unless you buy kpro with another ecu. In the meantime I say start with some basic boltons and see how you like it before you dive into the realm of engine tuning. Now if you want to go boost that is another conversation that we can get into if you'd like.
Also check out k20.org and clubrsx and I'm sure there is a forum just for civic SI's like yours. Lots of good info for you on those sites.
