Came across this site by way of a search that I'm currently doing. Tryna figure out how to bypass the srs system or trick it into thinking that the drivers side airbag is still there so that the other safety features still work, still haven't found a complete answer so fell free to point me in the right direction if you know how.
Anyways, as the title says new here but not new to honda's or forums for that matter. I'm a regular on Honda-tech, hondaswap, superhonda, clubsi, hondaclub,hondaspace, and the list can go on and on, but you get the idea.
Brief Honda narrative.
First got into Honda's back in 2000, first car was a 98 civic ex, completly stock. 2nd car was a 2000 civic si on which I did a B16B swap and boosted, sold when the military decided to move me to New MExico and I had to leave my tuner behind. Picked up a 2002 civic ex, only mods I did on that was the usual bolt on's, i/h/e. NExt vehicle was a 99 passport. Current vehicle is my second 2000 civic si, with another type r swap, mods are listed in my profile or just click the link in my sig that will take you to my garage. Goal for this si is to be one of the, if not the fastest all motor DD w/ almost all factory enabled features civic in my area. Features to include all power options, a/c, power steering, cruise control, etc.
Then once I'm done with this motor my next project will be to get another EM1 and swap a K20 type r motor in there, (yes I have a thing for type r powered Si's, lol)
