Hello from Minneapolis
I just joined today. Looks like lots of good stuff on here. I have 2 Civics...the daily driver which is a 92 4door DX with 200k miles and the slightly modded 2001 VTEC coupe. Now heres the bad news, we had a major hail storm the other day...guess which car was safe and which one go mucho hail damage! The 92 was safe and sound, the 2001 looks like a golf ball. Sheesh. I will post some pics and what insurance plans to do later.

You got hail in mpls recently? It must have been one of the very windy days where I was at work and missed it. I haven't seen any hail this year myself.

yes, it was last Tuesday when it rained really hard across the whole city. In Brooklyn Park they had some trees and power lines down too.
Sorry gang, no pics....I have to get a new digital camera as it turns out. Anybody have a camera to suggest? I would like to be in the $150 club. The CoolPix series looks pretty good......

Ah yes, I was at work all day on tuesday. As far as cameras go I've only ever had Sony and Canon and I've come to like the Canons so much I have purchased about four of them for various friends & family.
Feel safe at night, sleep with a paramedic.

Quick Update......
The Insurance person came out on Friday and looked at the Civic. They coughed up $2100 for hail damage repair. Now I have to get some estimates...
Can't wait to get my baby looking good again!

I got my hail damage check which weighed in at $1900 after deductable was taken out, and the first paintless dent repair estimate I got was for $1500! Gotta love it! Now I can get that new digicam!

MAn I used to live in EP and my first car was totalled out from hail damage. Got like 3,000 for it though...How bad is the hail on the roof? Cause what you could do is get a CF hood, and Trunk, and just have the other dents popped out, and probably even have a hundred or so left over..
