New to Civics

Hello All,

Just bought an 04 civic about a month ago for use primarily as a commuter car. I'm a jeep guy (hence the name) but I love my Civic! I've been getting 45-50 mpg with this car and it's awesome.

I look forward to learning about this car and contributing to the forum.

Tried to post a pic of my ride but I can't till I have 15 posts. Anyway, it's Completly stock with the exception of a K&N drop in filter. It's a "value package" and it's blue exterior with tan interior.

Peace

Welcome to the forums!

I just got an 04 LX Sedan about a month ago. I commute about 80 miles p/day so I don't plan on doing any major performance mods or engine swaps. All I plan to do is tint the glass, swap in a coupe grille, and get some OEM alloy wheels, preferably the 15-spoke 05 Civic SE wheels but I may opt for a set of 06 Honda Fit wheels if I can find some.

Maybe I'll upgrade the radio too but it's not a big deal.

Hey, Thanks Everyone.

THis is a commuter so no mods in the plans either. I have been looking at those SI wheel and tire sets on ebay. I will probably wait till next summer since the tires on the car have plenty of tread and it's almost winter.

I would like to upgrade my guage cluster to add a tach. Found a write up on a 6th gen civic but nor sure about the 7th gen.

I just ordered a big azz roll of dampening material to put in my car. Going to put some new speakers too.

LOL, I guess I do plan on doing some stuff to this car.... I;m in the middle of swapping an axle into the jeep and some other stuff so the civic will have to say as is for a while. Then I will have plenty of time to research what I really want anyway.

Peace,
