I'm the new guy...

Just wanted to go through and introduce myself. I'm Daren, new to the wonderful world of Honda's. I've been messing around with "tuners" for a few years now though.

I just picked up a 2002 Civic EX 5-Speed Coupe in Rallye Red. It was a demo at a Dealer that got "lost in inventory", aka the dealer took it home and drove it for a few years and decided to just get rid of it. Got it for under 10 with a 3 year 45,000 warranty, new clutch, tires, breaks, and all other 75k service. All in all, not a bad deal for 250 a month. Plus, considering I traded in a 1996 Avenger (undependable and SLOW) for it and my other car is a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi AWD- you can't beat the dependability and gas milage!

So other than the FAQ's (of which I've started scanning through), the 7th Gen Manual (already downloaded), and the such- anyone have any recommended links or pearls of wisdom for me?

Hey there, yea, the civic is pretty reliable, fuel efficent and most people call it slow. And engine mods dont do much. Most people would tell you to do suspension and wheels to make it fun if your gonna mod it.

"How much horsepower does my Ebay intake and STAGE THREE EXHAUST add!!?!?!111!?" *rolls eyes*

This is definately going to just be my daily driver. Might put on the usual bolt ons for now- the RSX swap looks fun, but that's something down the line after I get rid of the car note....

Plus I have a 1992 AWD DSM.... I just cracked the 350hp line (fresh off the dyno yesterday), so that takes up most of my modding cash!
