02 Civic 2DR D17A1

I need more Horspower. I previously owned a1992 Accord 2DR Coupe with about 180hp. I loved that car! I was wrecked into by a lady in an SUV while talking or Cell.

I bought an 02 Civic with a D17A1 with 115hp. Does anyone know if an engine swap is possible?

Yes there is.. I think the most done swap is for a K20A RSX engine.. runs about 8k. Best best is to get rid of the vic and just buy somethign faster

I've checked the specs on K20A, without the engine I'm looking at about 2 to 3k. This includes engine mount kits, wiring harness etc. But, where can I find an engine in the US. Are these only avilable from Japan? Why would you tell someone in a Civic forum to "get rid of the Vic",

Thanks, I don't have much experience with these forums, but freinds tell me it's the best way to find any info you need.
