Hey guys I just signed up here at 7thgencivic and wanted to give a big hello to fellow civic owners. I jumped the gun a little bit since I don't have my civic yet but Im picking it up Thursday so no worries.
Anyways a little history about myself
I'm 17, had an Acura RSX base automatic for my first car.
Drove a civic, fell in love with it. Sold the RSX. Havn't looked back since.
I know it sounds crazy, trading a RSX for a civic LX. But I love civics that much. I just don't think there is any other car I'd rather drive. The civic will have some modifications though. First I'm gettin that thing on 17" rims, tinting the windows and putting a Dub 6 in the trunk. I also want to lower it. Which brings up a question....
I only want to lower my car about one inch. Is it neccessary to get a camber kit and an alignment right away? I think a solid 1 inch drop isn't gonna damage anything in the long term if I get my car serviced regularly.

wtf.. you traded the rsx for a civic.. I call bs. lol anyways welcome to the site! =)
a one inch drop should not need a camber kit but any time you mess w/ the suspension you need to get an alignment that is a must.

no I seriously did sell my rsx for a civic. I have pics of the old RSX if you wanna see em. But i took them myself on my phone so i'm not in them. I post on Clubrsx.com my name is rsxformyfirstcar
I had a cold air intake and tsudo exhaust from ebay. that thing was still boring as hell to drive though.
Anyways i picked up my civic yesterday! it's pretty sweet.
I've gotta get that thing looking sexy real quick. So i'm first adding rims, then the OEM spoiler, then tinting them windows. after that i'm looking to either drop it or add an intake.
