Hey all Im here to talk about my Mostly wifes 02 civic ex 5spd coupe.It ran 16.1 @ 85.00 Stock here at orlando speedworld dragway. Im here to see if the car is capable of high 14s without a lot of mods. I had a 99 si and stock the car felt the same but the 02 has more bottem end. My 99 went 15.7 @87 With only intake and 14.7 @93.3 with AEM CAI, DC Header (w/gutted cat), Greddy exhaust, And ACT 6 puck Clutch. Please dont flame me about the time cuase thats all honda-tech did, The time is for real. I have heard of some 02 civics hitting 15.9 @ 86 stock is this true, i dont see why not mine did 16.1. Does anyone know if gutting the cat on the o2 civics give you as much power as they do on the 99 Si's?

I also have a 94 civic 4 door w/ h22 best 14.14 @ 97.47
And a 96 auto accord best 16.8 @ 82

welcome to the site!! and I don't know about cutting the cat and it helping at all on the 7thgens. we have found that hardly any mods are worth doing unless it includes a swap or turbo.
