Someone New From England
Hello Guys, just saying hello and how much i like your website, I just bought a 01 Coupe 1.7 vtec in the Titanium colour, bought it on my birthday (27th May). Very nice car, am impressed. As i have said on an another thread these things are real rare over here, seen three or four other coupes since i got mine. Most are the butt-ugly 5 door hatches over here, dont think you got that version in America (may be wrong). This site is a great source of info as with these rare in UK nobody over here knows too much about em.

I was gonna buy the older shape Coupe VTI as that all my budget really stretched to, but at work reading the paper saw this for sale at a local dealer and thought it was incredably cheap at £5000, as everywhere else and at Honda dealers they are £7000 (book price). Anyway had a look that night, liked it, had a drive next day, liked it even more and put a deposit on it, paid £4900 so it was a real steal. Only 29k on clock (2001 model) and even wearing the original Bridgestone tyres, real good condition apart from a couple of scuffs on the front bumper. Managed to source a genuine rear spoiler for it of someone on a uk site. These were only made 2001-03, dont know if that is same over there.

I agree about the tires. One of the first things I did was replace my crap Firestones (with only 10,000 miles [about 16000 kilometres] on them) with Yokohama Avids -- the ride improved dramatically. I've upgraded wheels since then, and I put yet another set of Yokos (V4s) on her, and she rides very well...

I haven't been round this site for a while simply because I felt there weren't enough european members. So I was kinda surprised to read your post right at the same time I wanted to check how things are over here. Life can be funny
As for the lack of 7th gen coupes in europe, I know what you mean. It's a major event when I see one
Enjoy the site, and your ride
