Question 04-05 Ebay Fog Help....PLEASE (Pics)

Hi, I just purchased the 04-05 civic fogs. I need some help figuring out the harness. On the Honda instructions it says things about 16, 10, and 4 pin connectors and the Ebay fogs don't have any. All I have is 1 single pin plug left.

--Is #1 the constant power source and do I plug it into the fuse box under the steering wheel?

--Do I plug #1 into spot #2 in the fuse box or should I run it somewhere else?

THANKS

didnt it come with instructions? anyways, if it is fitted for OEM harness, then yes, it should hook up with a plug in the fusebox

i tested out the fogs and they work. The empty fuse has constant power and the switch is always lit and the fogs can turn on when the car is off.

What would be a safe place to hook-up a new power source so the fogs turn off with the car.

Re: 04-05 Ebay Fog Help....PLEASE (Pics)

ugh that harness is garbage. my advice to you would be buy a universal relay wire harness from suvlights.com for $35, splice your fogs to it, and attach the trigger to any source you want like park lights, headlights, or your own switch. thats the proper way to do it and they will get power directly from the battery with upgrade wires. the trigger wire activates the relay, which then energizes the fogs through other thick wire running to battery.

this has been covered a thousand times. if you would have searched before buying, you would have known the issues that tons of others have had just like yours and been able to hook things up right the first time.
