Headlight Tinting (smoke)
Headlight Tinting (smoke)
I am thinking of tinting (smoking) the headlights and euro taillights on my 01 civic ex. I am planning on using the rvinyl smoke out lens wrap kit.

Has anyone ever used this product before and if so how is it. Do you think this is a good idea or not. I don't want to paint them because i don't want loss of light and don't want it to be permanent.

I haven't used that particular kit, however I do have the vinyl tint on my stock tails. Just so long as you follow the instructions (work slow, float the vinyl with soapy water, squeegee from end to the other, and use a hairdryer on low) you shouldn't have any issues - with the back at least. The fronts, I don't know. They have a rounder surface to mess with so it may be tricky. Here's a shot of my smoked stockers (yes I know my license plate is crooked).
