I want brighter lights

I want brighter headlights but don't want to spend the money on HID. What should I buy.

Just shell out the money for HIDS. Don't waste your money on tinted bulbs, they actually lower the light output.

I meant that most bulbs out there have some type of tint or coating on them to give them color. This coating lowers the light output, but silverstars are good bulbs but not that much brighter. But if you want HID visibility you need HIDs.

^ exactly... i love my HIDs, my warranty is fail-safe for a year, but i love them, excellent brightness... i mean they burn less watts, and use less amperage. go McCulloch... i love them! my 10K are mega brighter than hte silverstars...

I had silverstars and they burnt out really quick. I did notice a difference in colour, but definately not worth it.

$30 for OSRAM clear silverstars only in europe (or ebay). good for an extra 300 lumen over stock. wont last as long but will be brighter.

$75 upgrade H4 wire harness from www.suvlights.com will make them even brighter. when youre done, your lights will be noticably brighter and whiter than stock.

best hid? oem projectors, bulb, and ballast.

I have McCulloch 6000k HIDs and love 'em. McCulloch are under $300 and you get a quality system. Best for the money in my opinion. You can buy them off ebay.
