your h4 kit wont work with any projector. oem hid projector all use d2s oem bulbs from philips or osram. if you are doing retrofit with hid projectors, you also need to get new ballast/bulbs for them. and just sell your kit.

um you cant use halogen projectors with hid. and the tyc is H1 too. hid bulb in tyc halogen = crap. it will be worse than your oem setup. spend the extra money, get a real hid projector and new bulbs and ballasts. check ebay, check hidplanet.com. i decided on the audi a4 valeo projectors. not disappointed at all. i got the projectors/ballast/bulb for around $400 which is on the expensive side. you can find them cheaper. the whole retro cost me almost $800 but i messed up, and there were extra expenses like buying new headlights and stuff. but you could get all the hardware you need for around $300-$400 depending on how long you shop around.

TYC projectors
NOT HID.
They use H3 HALOGEN bulbs.
TYC makes the entire housing to replace your stock ones.
You will need to buy H3 sized HID bulbs + mod them to fit.

HID projectors
Real HIDs
They use D2S HID bulbs.
Usually removed from other housings to be retrofitted into your housings.
You will need HID projectors, housings to retrofit them into, d2s bulbs, your current ballasts, AMP to D2S adapter from eBay, patience, time, and creativity.

visit hidplanet.com if you are confused about what HIDs or retrofits are.
