Brands of lights to get?

Ok so I gather from talk on the site that APC stuff on ebay is a joke. I guess I don't get why yet... they appear to be ok, but i don't know about that company.

So I was wondering about headlights made by TYC? Is that an ok brand?

My stock headlights are all messed up. They are extremely scratched and cloudy. They need to be replaced anyway. I want clear for the front. I don't think the blacked out look is good for my red car.
