OEM foglight switch changed......
hey guys whats up, well I order a set of oem foglights and it came with a stock switch but I was wondering if its possible to use a different switch instead of that one. I actually have in mind to use something like this: http://www.radioshack.com/product/in...entPage=search
however if it possible to use? if so how would I connect it? thanks for the info guy. Oh and is there maybe a website that any of you know where i can find out how to do this? in case there isnt anyone that knows how to do this. Thank you again.

^^Actually, the last time I saw a switch like that was on the display board at a Best Buy in Massachusettes that had a whole row of those switches to control various Toucan and APC strobe and neon products such as lighted washer nozzles and light up Honda logos.

well I just want to know if its possible but ANYWAYS! here is an update.......I installed the lights with no problem until I came to the wiring IT was a Fing mess!!!!! me and my pop could not figure it out so we just "mickey moused" it with new wiring and it turned out great! UNTIL!!! Saturday night when I was finished installing the suspension I was backing out of my dads shop he noticed that one of the lights went out! so now Iam stuck with only one foglight working due to a burned out light bulb oh well. I guess this gives me a chance to put some yellow bulbs in there.

Oh, I kinda like the non translucent aircraft switches but they are expensive unless you find a good source. Expect to pay around 20 bucks or more per switch for lighted ones.

^^who the hell cares man not really interested in his opinion of whats rice or not just as long as it looks ok to me and I think it does. so yeah I didnt even use the oem switch so its just sitting there I ended up using a switch with a little red light at the end of it the only problem is that this little LED is on all the time and I thought there might be some problems with my battery but so far its all good.
