I know this is a tired subject, but I need the advice from all you guys in the know. I want to get an HID kit for my 04 coupe, but I have reservations and I need advice. I dont want to retrofit a projector into my housing, and I dont want to lose my hi-beams. Ill spend whatever money is necessary for a good plug and play kit, but dont want alot of hassels with installation. Ive heard about the glare, but I live in Springfield, MO and the cops around here dont enforce any type of laws involving car mods. So, Im looking for a plug and play kit, high and low beams, 6000-7000k color temp, and maybe the shield I hear about to reduce glare, priced from $300-600, what do I need to get. i think you can get just a xtec 9006 kit for like $300. That will be for your lows. You don't really need high beam hids. I wouldn't suggest going above 6000k though. You lose a lot of light when you go higher then that.

call Umnitza. they do custom work. their kits are nice as hell too. i got mine for 250 shipped. 6000k's all i need now are some 6000k fogs...

Don't get anything over 4300k, It's WASTE OF MONEY.
