Started working on them today at noon, not really so hard of a job..anyone could do it. The only hard part is cutting..will take more ppics once I'm done..

One thing though gearbox, they don't blink simultaneosly..like one would blink faster than the other, eventually they blink at the same time and then start blinking uneven again..any way to make them blink together?

really? i haven't noticed but i'll check tomorrow. pretty sure mine blink at same time since they come from the same wire.

sidemarker=red & black wires
amber turn signal=green, red & black wires

I wired the sm(black) with the ts(green) and red with red..

ah thats why. you wired it to stay on and flash all at once. you only have 3 choices. black to black and red sm to green for only flashing (in sequence), black to black and red to red for always on, and the way you did for both (flashes out of sequence when lights are on).

I hooked mine (& ragingspam) up JDM style... They blink alternately with the front turn signal and are always on when you have parking or full lights on. Make sense?

Cubanmike26, did you use a template? It kinda looks from the pics that you might have them on backwards...

That's how mine are(always on when lights are on), but what I dislike is that they do not blink simultaneously as I explained to gearbox. You said you wired your like that..doesn't yours skip when blinking..like, do the turn signal and the side marker blink exactly at the same time?

backwards eh? I know what you mean, but I've been looking some cars with them on and ppl seem to put them both ways. I think the longer ramp of the side marker goes towards the rear of the car..more area to flash brighter no? and ppl next to you would notice you faster when you wish to turn?? I could be wrong though..

No on mine, the turn signal and sidemarker blink alternately. But thats the way i want them. And actually the longer ramp of the sidemarker goes to the front, an aerodynamic thing is what i'm guessing. I and "ragingspam" have the original DC5R template that you can match it all up with.

Well..rice or not I originally wanted them to lip up only when signaling so..I have to rewire them.
