Good lighting knowledge
So I've been meaning to really educate myself on HIDs and the differences of each system, and so on and so forth.. I found this link off hidplanet.com and I really learned a lot so I thought I'd share. If it's a repost, my bad.

This is also true... well anyways, I did learn quite a bit off that thread and some other posts that I read through when I searched..
Now I'm under the impression that "bi-xenon systems" is the type of system where both high beam AND low beam are in one projector and there is a solenoid built in that moves uhhh... something inside it? lol If that makes no sense, flame away haha I thought I read something about that though...

Alright thanks... I want to learn more about retrofitting and such and maybe possibly do my own eventually. But before I even attempt this, I definitely want to learn more.

well haven't seen the fyckis concept; you know on the 01 sedan headlights outer edges around the chrome I guess an easy way would be to call it an edge highlight? i'll edit this with a pic in a second...
EDIT OK pic i mean something like this or is this asking for a long grain rice sticker?

wtf? an LED will never be able to do that. maybe an array of LEDs, but that's going to add up quick ($$$$). i would suggest that if you DO want to do this, think about getting some electroluminescent tape. i was thinking of doing something similar to my TYC valeo retrofit (a strip of EL tape across the top for a blinker/parking light).

I've been saying l.e.d because I have a lack of verbal skills I meant el but i guess that it seems kidna stupid anyways...that focus concept light is kinda the direction i was looking...any knowledge on how that was achieved or is it just diff chrome paper formation around light?
