ok cool, I think ill go with alcohol, so that way I can control it just in case things go wrong, u know? ok, im sure ill have questions for ya when I get back OR ill post up pics of the final product, have fun in colorado

thanks. if alcohol doesn't work, someone used q-tips and dipped in acetone. Its alot slower but safer than taking a big cloth and wiping.

Well, I ended using nail polish remover that contains no acetone, but it worked well. U had to put some elbow grease into it to get the black and red film off. It was worth it in the end. I had a problem with the gauges with calibration, but I had my gf pace me and I adjusted them on the fly.
Anyways heres the pix of the guages


Now, the gauges look lit up even in the early evening time. My next thing is my climate controls, but ill do those later. Again, thanx for ALL the help gearbox
