I plan on embarking on designing my own tail lights in a few days and im wondering if anybody knew what dot specs would be? I know I have to have the blinker and running lamp and of course a brake light but is there any specifications on these? I will most likely go with a a clear led blinker if thats legal and leds for the red and backup lights. thanks in advance for any tips.

you're gonna have to find some bright leds like luxeons and do a retrofit, maybe even find some parabolic reflectors. Signal in the rear has to be red or amber (orange). Also need a red reflector somewhere on the lens or bumper.
