Yellow Lamin-X'd 04 Foglights Ready to Install!!!

Might i add...the Lamin-X is pretty damn freakin hard to cut out just perfect and to apply on perfect to these fog lights, because the lense curves and its not flat, so u cant get a good trace and u have to estimate. And then its an ackward shaped outline anyways. But ya i did my best and i think it turned out great. I cant wait to install them tomorrow...I will post those pics as soon as they are finished.

Why didn't you stick it on then trim it? Just a suggestion for next time you think about doing something like this.

Bcuz it just BARELY fit and i needed a traced cut of the outline of the fogs before i just slap it on there and worry about one side getting less coverage then the other. And i did trim it a bit with an exacto knife after i put it on. But ya i did it the best way possible for it being as curved as it was.

Lol, I'm jacking all your threads man!...just kidding...anyways, I was debating on the same thing about the lamin-X since our fogs are concave. I think that probably the best way to trace the film so that it ends up exactly the same size of the fog is to roll the lamp and trace the film as you go, instead of sticking it on and then cutting it. The pieces aren't big enough so it becomes harder to work on them and besides it doesn't help that it's gelly like.
