Would it be possible to buy some off the offbrand projectors from ebay, I'm mainly looking at those halo projectors, then remove the projector lens that comes with it and replace it with a higher quality one from say an audi or whatever that doesn't have massive glare?

I don't want to just stick a HID kit into my stock headlights because IMO that looks crappy. I want to get halo projectors but some people are advising against that, soo... What should I do? Would what I suggested work?

or just remove the whole projector assembly itself and replace with an oem projector. unless that's what you meant, because you said just replace the lens and that might help, but the size of the projector bowl has an affect on how the beam pattern shows up too.

just retrofit oem products and save yourself the problems down the road.
