ion lights
anyone know about those PIAA foglights that have that crazy blue/yellow tint thing going on? there is a 6th gen civic locally that has an entire headlight housing coated with that stuff.... or he bought them... or something. I was just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to buy that stuff and coat a headlight with it.... because that would be insane looking. im just tryin to brainstorm some new mods, as i notice our little community here feeds off itself rather than importing new ideas.

I'm assuming there's a process involved, since it doesn't seem to be a film. They don't look that good anyways, but maybe there's a company that can sspray tint yours. You could prolly even do it yourself, but it won't look as clean (use yellow and blue tint and mix em as you spray).
i have the piaa ion driving/fog lamps that have the same affect as those you posted.
i believe their piaa 001 solatire . the one with black housing and ION lighting. its golden and blue on the lense. came like that too. the lamps give yellow lighting output though and not really blue at all. its yellow when ur far away, when u come closer to it, it'll fade away to regular halogen color.

i just think it would be a really unique headlight for a 7thgen.... i mean... no one has it. and especially putting an HID through that lens will prolly make one bright-*** light

You could try it with tint spray mix, like experiment spraying both together or one over the other unevenly. Can always wipe it off if it doesn't work. Don't forgeth clear coat on top.
