so am i getting this all right? If I want to go HID and have tyc's I need to change the projectors too? or are the projectors cool and i just need a kit.

If you have TYCs and just want HIDs you can get an h1 aftermarket kit (if you want I can get you a kit)
If you want too have the "bmw/mercedes" look (flickering of colors) then you would have to purchase HID projectors and bulbs...
Kit = 300$ range
Retrofit (bmw/mercedes) = $500-600 range

They are both bright...
Aftermarket kit will give you some glare... You wont have a sharp cut off. You will still get the colors of a bmw/mercedes with tyc projectors.
With OEM/Retrofitted Projectors, The light is just really focused. You will get more of a "flicker" effect.
