Need Help With Interior Bulb Sizes

Hey, I am trying to figure out all the bulbs for the dome lights and map lights in the 7th gen Civic, and I have found many different confugurations.

If you have one of the following cars...

- 2-door WITH a sunroof
- 2-door WITHOUT a sunroof
- 4-door WITHOUT a sunroof

I need to know the how many bulbs each uses and the bulb number (if you do not know the bulb number, a pic of the bulb would do) for the following:
- Map Lights
- Front Dome Light
- Rear dome light

You can post the info here, or email it to me at Nate@LEDautomotive.com.

Any help is appreciated.

I saw this guide, but it lists multiple bulbs for each (map light 168 DE3022 is 2 different bulbs). The reason fir this is because there is a difference depending on if you have a 2-door or 4-door, and if you have a sunroof or not. That is why I want people to actually tell me what is in their car.

In a 4-door with sunroof the rear dome is a DE3022 and the front dome light and the map lights are 194.

To be honest, I am not sure what type of bulb the odometer uses. If you want to take the cluster out to check, it would help me out. Also, it is possible for you to make some $$. Check out this link: http://www.ledautomotive.com/Company...pportunity.asp

No, but I have a guy who will be taking his car apart to see what bulb or LED lights up the keyhole. Once he does this, I may have a kit depending if it is possible or not.

My bet is that it is the same as the Accord.

Hmmm well I've done the entire dash and cluster with leds and indiglo. I do have a big post with how to do some stuff. Even figured out how to change the shifter lights. Check it out...maybe there's something you can use.

Tons of pics here, so hopefully you have fast internet.

Thanks a bunch! You really tore into things!

I should have a guide for the shifter on my site soon. Just have to resize and crop the pics and put it all on my site.

Here's what the owner's (not service) manual says. Don't know why everything is so different, but these just distinguish between lx and ex.

Ceiling light (12V 8w)
Front ceiling light ex only (12v 5w)
spotlights (12v 5w for ex) (12v 8w for lx)

That prolly still doesn't help...also remember that only an EX has sunroof, and lx/dx is without it.

It does help... Do you have a 2-door or 4-door?

I now only need to know the bulbs in the following cars:
- 2-door WITH a sunroof (EX)
- 2-door WITHOUT a sunroof (LX)

Thanks a lot.

Sorry I have not responded, I have not been getting emails when someone replies. *misslynn* email me at Nate@LEDautomotive.com with your shipping address, and I will calculate if for you.

Guys (and gals)...

All I need to know now is the bulb types for a 2-door with sunroof.

If any of you have a 2-door with sunroof, please contact me. Thanks!

In my 01 EX, I used size 194 for the dome and map lights both front and rear, and the trunk light.

Mine had the 194's, so I don't know. When they replace my brake pads at the dealership they had to use the 2000 brake pads cause the one's for the 01 were too thick. Mine was an early production 01, so maybe they used some excess parts from the 00's?
