Xtec HIDs INSTALLED w/pics
Alright these are the 6000k HIDs that our good friend Impulse is offering with the group buy deal...I guess I'm one of the first to hop onto this deal, but i just wanted to say that for anyone else wanting a great deal on a quality HID kit, you can go to Impulse and his Xtecs he is selling. I have some pictures i took while i was installing them. I didnt get any night shots, becuase right after i installed them i had to go to work. But i will post wall shots and other types of shots at nite tonight and post them up later this evening after i get off of work. Ofcourse u can contact Impulse for more information.

ohh dang thas right...I'm an H-town dweller myself, i didnt notice u lived here. My s/n is Thatboyduffy, IM me and we'll talk bout meetin up and a car meet or somethin. Oh and ya the light output is amazing, i light up the road even for people infront of me. And the install was pretty simple, i got them in the mail like an hour before i had to get ready for work so i rushed to get em in and i have never messed with this kinda stuff before and i ended up gettin em in with not too much hassle. The passenger side was easy as pie but the drivers side had some stuff that was in the way that made it a lil harder to reach. Overall it was a fairly simple install but the ballasts will get u thinkin on where to place em. Ya my pics dont really do it to much justice in the daytime, so i will take some tonight and post em.

ya man i will take pics of it lighting up the street. lol that would be the best picture to take if i took any...it lights up nicely.
nice looking lights!
is there any glare problem? cause on my 04 with 8k i have glare problem. its
too bright. also for some reason it kinda burned a lil bit of my reflector. or
was it already there for using cheap aftermarker bulb for like a week? funny
thing is that one of them actually blew up in my headlight. damn them, so my
driver side is not that bright anymore.
maybe ill see you around town.

i dont think i understand the glare thing that much...but if for the record, on the road when im drivin, i see fine and there is nothign blinding me. Unless glare blinds oncoming traffic. Where as i havent had anyone flash their lights at me, so i guess im all good?

People have problems with high watt bulbs blowing up in projectors. Impulse has HIDs in his TYC, so I'm sure it's fine.
The glare is other drivers seeing your headlights as a blinding ball of light. HIDs were not meant to be put in a halogen-based reflector housing. The massive reflector puts light out all over the place without the proper shield on the bottom of the bulb. With a shield in place, the headlights will look just like stock but still put out more light.

hey impulse, i dont like to prove preople wrong but HELLA does make HID kits. i dont know if you were being sarcastic about it or being factual. but 3 of my friends have them and they work perfectly fine. it says HELLA on the ballast and it even came in a HELLA box. please correct me if im wrong.
