Question Xenonfactory.com or Xenondepot.com

Would like some feedback from these companies. Anyone buy their HID's from them? Thanks.

i have the h4 4300k kit from XenonDepot. It was on backorder so it took 3 weeks, but as soon as they got them in, they shipped it next day air.

kit was very easy to install, except finding a location to mount the ballast near the driver side headlight.

i love the kit though, looks great

Xenondepot.com if its a must =\

the way I see it
4300k = $449.99 < Best lighting
6000k = $549.99
8000k = $349.99 < Worst Lighting

Thats for aftermarket...

Ebay.com
Valeo/HID Projectors = 100-160$
Ballasts/Bulbs/Wiring = 200-260$
Max = 420$ = OEM NOT Aftermarket...

So now... What would you rather have..? Something OEM (and if a bulb pops/ which will never happen\ u will be able to replace easily, and will out perform any aftermarket kit) OR Aftermarket (when the bulb pops.. yea, when it WILL pop, you will have a hard time finding the bulbs because they are "illegal", you will also have glare even if you have a sheild and other issues, dont get me started )

hmmmmm.... You guys gotta use your heads!

I read a couple of your other posts Impulse and you said A4 projectors would look good for our cars. True? Also can i use the wiring from the A4 (this includes the ballasts) or do i have to custom make one? If so how hard is it to make wires to make the HIDs work?

^ a lot of people rather do it themselves, so i provide a nice DIY Money isnt everything.

If they are willing to let me work on there projectors, then i will.

Ramones: You may use everything from the A4... Thats what I did, I soddered 2 wires and done, works

LuZi0n: HID Projectors and D2S bulbs... I wouldnt know how to wire it up correctly because of the aftermarket kit.

im not exactly sure what you mean by wire it up. My kit is already wired up and installed. If i got the projectors and bulbs, would i need to do anything else besides the actual modification to the headlight assembly?

what i meant by wiring is, When you get the new projectors they will be D2S... Right now you have an aftermarket kit, So wires will need to be soddered, and im not sure which ones since its an aftermarket kit.

While I agree with going and doing a retro, there's something to say about the plug-and-playability of an aftermarket conversion kit.

Also, you forgot the cost of the projector headlights that you're going to have to buy. So figure another $150-$200 for a new set. Then misc parts for the retro, probably $50. So, you're looking at about $600 for the conversion.

Oh no man. I've already seen the light.

When you were showing off your HID retro at the Mid-A meet, I was drooling. If I had an extra $600 laying around, I'd definately do it.

well, I have ece E55 Bi-xenon and I hate it all my heart even wanna get rid off them or trade to valeo ece cause quite unconfortable to drive with them.
for instance: 1.makes terrible black spot on the ground on the left side which is too dangerous, cause you cant see really well a sidewalk.
2.makes black hole just in 3 ft. from your hood wich is not comfortable at all.
3.couldnt see anything on the riight side of the road.
4.too difficult to aim them.
5. too big for TYCs
I spent almost 6 months working on them and i`d say I made big mistake getting them, would be better just use something much simple.
