Custom Projectors!!!
Ok heres what I did. I had the black Sonar projectors and the leses went bad so I ordered a new set. I got the chrome ones instead and had everything painted the color of the car except the chrome rings in the lights. I used the extra set of halos to put them over the high beams and installed better blue T1 LED's into them as well. To top it off I have Audi HID projectors. How badass are these? I dig the way it make the front end look. The hood, tinted front window and painted grille help too. Opinions?

I did a retrofit with Audi S4 HID projectors, d2s bulbs and BMW Ballasts. I like the X5's. I was just at the BMW dealership checking out the new cars and the new Bi-Xenon Projectors use the "self-leveling" process. It looked awesome, but the assembly looked far too large to fit in our cars.

yea... forget about the self leveling system... a lot of people tried and said **** it, lol

looks better than the old set!

Buy 2 sets of headlights and use the halo's from the spare set. Impulse, I wanted to use the BMW halos since they use fiber optics. They get so much brighter but the halos were way too big.

Thanks guys (and gals). I actually have a spare set of bezels lying around. I'm thinking of offering somethink like *Send my your projectors and for $x I'll have them painted and reassembled*. I don't know yet.

Somebody work me a trade for a DC Header (Real) and I'll do the entire thing. You ship them to me and I'll have the painted reassembled and shipped back. I can't do the double halo setup because I don't have another halo lying around, but I will give you the T1 Blue LEDs in mine.
