Well these are oficially the 4th set of bulbs I've tried..
OEM
PIAA
Sylvania "Cool Blue"
Sylvania "SilverStars"
They aren't too bad, but honestly I'm not seeing too much difference between these ones and the "Cool Blue" ones. Definately not worth the extra $20+ that you pay for them. The back of the package says they are soo much brighter than the Cool Blues and maybe with the right equipment they are, or if they are side-by-side with some cool blues, but you really can't notice the difference if you are basing it on how well it lights the road.
PIAA had the best HID look-alike light, but they only lasted a couple months, so as far as longevity is concerned Sylvania beats PIAA. The OEM ones still work to this day, but aren't in use, the OEM ones outlast them all, but are ugly.
So from these 4 choices it's really boils down to this:
1. How much you are willing to cough up for bulbs
2. How much you care about how they look
3. How much you care about how long they'll last.
It doesn't seem like from these choices, you'll get both great looks and great quality so you'll have to sacrifice one for the other.
So. . if you don't care about how the light looks, you just want to save your money, then stay with the OEM.
If you don't care about cost, but want it to look good, go PIAA.
If you want somewhere in-between, go with the Cool Blue
If you don't care about money and want to have 1 up on the Cool Blues, then go SilverStars.
And that is my .02. . Have a nice day!

Stock = 3200K color temp
Cool blue = 3800K
I definately noticed a difference over stock with my cool blues. I've been hearing that the silverstars are just like stock. Is this true?
