The headlamp housing has very little to do with brightness, brightness is determined by your lightbulbs.

Personally I do not like aftermarket headlamp assemblies, they are too expensive and the appeal only lasts for a while.

Those units are very nice, if I had the money I would get some projectors but I have to buy other things for my car first.

^^^^ werd

housing has HUGE affect on bright-ness...if your housing cannot focus light, it doesn't matter how bright ur bulb it, the light will diffuse, and look dull...but if you have focused light, u can make candle light look like something comming from a lighthouse ^_^ (exaggeration)

Those are nice lights, there are a few things that will help make these a good upgrade, not only do they look sweet, they will also be brighter because they are projectors as well as the housings are more reflective than stock, matched with a good set of bulbs they will make a big difference in brightness.

When buying these just make sure they are from a reputable dealer / manufact. just in case they start to leak or fog up, that way you will have warrenty on them.

i'm pretty sure replacing to an aftermarket headlight will not be as bright, even with expensive bulbs. converting the projector to HID on the other hand is a whole different story. - BUT IT'S STILL NOTHING COMPARED TO RETRO-FIT HID CONVERSION HEADLIGHTS.

oh you btw with those "halo" rings, FYI if you DO NOT correctly install/wiretap them in place, you run a big risk in buring out your parking light. you'll have one of those days where you headlight turn on but no turn signals or parking light. you'll then either have to replace the fuse or find the portion of the wiring thats been burnt and replacing it is a biiiaaattcchhh...

just cuz its projector don't mean it'll be brighter than stock. its just a different style housing. and they are definitely NOT going to make a big difference in brightness with a good set of bulbs, even with PIAA. you would have to convert to HID for a significant difference.
