Rep Power: 295 I don't think that would be a good idea.
Talk to the people at your local auto part store. They might be able help you find a different bulb that won't be as brite as the one you have now.

Rep Power: 0 I dont want them too dim, but I dont want them as bright. When its dark you can still see dim lights, I dont need to blind the guy behind me when I brake.
I was thinking of putting some kind of paint on the bulb, maybe like nail polish, but does this wear off due to heat???

Rep Power: 295 If you do paint them get high heat paint other wise the paint will start to come off. Go to Ace or any other hardware store and tell them that you want to paint some bulbs. They should be able to tell you which paint would be best.

Rep Power: 0 I think EManEX is on the right track...
On the tail lights you could pull out the clear parking light bulbs and get some red ones. Then you could cover up the plug ends and spray them with some tinting paint that would tone down the red even farther.
As long as you don't mess with that 7443 brake bulb lol. Better to blind someone than to get sued because you get rear-ended and they find out that you altered your brake lights to be dimmmer!!!

Rep Power: 0 good point! I dont want them to be too dark, just not as bright....
see Ive already dissconnected several bulbs that are not needed. the front parking light and the little lights on the sides of the tails.
do you have to have an orange light up front all the time, or can it just come on when signaling???
