Rep Power: 0 Dezods kit on EBAY Is this a good bargain ?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-05...spagenameZWDVW
I found this on ebay ... and all the names of the parts were of dezod. The guy claims that the parts cost him way more than what he is asking for. Is it true though ? If so, what do u all think would be a good price for the whole thing?
Oh btw .. the guy also says that the kit has everything one needs and then he mentions 400hp turbo. Im confused .. Is the kit complete for a 400hp power output ? coz i didnt see any pistons or cams over there ?

Yeah, that's a good price. I know that guy had some issues with another cat on here, but he was in the right and the other turdball was wrong. It looks like it has everything and isn't a bad deal for what he's selling it for.
The turbo can flow well enough for 400hp. That setup in and of itself is not a 400hp kit though because, like you mentioned, no internals, plus those injectors can only dump enough fuel to get you to about 190(ish) whp. Not to mention the E-mangle.
But that's about as plug and play as you can get, although you would still need gauges, and I would definitely get a wideband O2 sensor. Not bad, looks like he's just trying to get his money back out of it.

i think his reason for selling was his son had a motorcycle accident or something and he's got bills to pay. Hate to say that I can't take advantage of a good deal though...

How can your engine support 400hp without rods and pistons I guess somebody want to blow an engine unless you run low boost but I thats is a good price for that kind of deal...I would buy it...

he posted on HT too.
as for the kit, the dezod intercooler will need some work on it to fit. as for prices, his prices on individual parts is pretty high since you can find them cheaper some other places online.
someone buy his kit so he can pay for his medical bills

I had to hack the living **** out of my front bumper the dezod FMIC to fit. Oh well, plastic is made for two things: 1. Cuttin' and 2. Throwin' in ditches to give a little back to Mother Earth. She started a fight she can't win....

thats a pretty good price considering that you will end up payin that price anyways when you're done collecting all of your parts. and if you buy off of dezod you're gonna pay $3000 anyways thats without fuel and engine management.

Not only will you NOT get 400, you can't even realistically break 260 with that setup. Stock cam won't flow enough and emanage is garbage.

no no no guyys u got it all wrong... foos said the TURBO is good for 400 hp...which mean if properly tuned and on the right vehicle.. the turbo itself will be safe upwards to the 400hp range.. not on our d17s..please..come on lol. its common sense...
