Just want to share 1/4 mile times and mods. To know what is happening with the 7th gen civic. To know if they still slower or not.
01 civic LX, D17A1 non-VTEC
from the factory without any mods: ~17.7
with mods: 16.9@83mph
short ram air intake (2.5") (no name)
AEM cam gear
lightweight underdrive pulley (no name)
4-1 JDM style header (no name)
2inch custom exhaust system, no cat
With better tires and some weight reduction I think will do better times.

Rep Power: 0 16.1, Sedan EX, with Revo SS Kit, DC Header, AEM SRI and AEM Pullies. 45 degree day with a 2.4 and change 60 foot time. Took out the spare tire and had less than a quarter tank of gas. Having a custom cat back exhaust put on this Monday. Hopefully, that will help get me down to 15.9.

Rep Power: 287 haha....youre right about bolt ons not giving much power. But the way I look at it, if you dont have the money for a swap....but you wanna make the car a LITTLE bit better...more power to you. Im setting mine up mostly for track, where a civic isnt at the bottom of the pack. lol. I havent gotten my 1/4 mile times up, but hopefully by next week...ill have something.
