spring compressor @autozone help!

I went to autozone today and asked or a spring compressor. I told the guy who worked there that i have 2001 civic. The guy then said that there isn't any spring compressor for my car. I am confuse, isn't there a universal spring compressor for all cars? Does this guy know what he is taking about becasue he asked if I wanted a coilover compressor or strut compressor, and I said I wanted a spring compressor.. Well I am totally confuse.. mmmm.... not always true. Even with a spring compressor there is a chance something will happen.

Anyhow, spring compressors are universal BUT he may have been saying that you may have a hard time getting it where you want to on the 7th gen. They have really small spaces compared the the gens before. Either way he is wrong. As far as a coilover compressor or a strut compressor uh as far as I know they are the same thing. On the strut the part that makes it expand is the spring so who knows. Ultimatly he is wrong.

OK I installed my neuspeed sports without a spring compressor. I mean sh1t me and my girl did it together. There is like hardly any pressure at all....dont waste your time with a spring compressor....
